Default Two thumbs up!

If you're living in Arizona or anywhere near and you don't come to Dr. Forred for your Airman's Medicals, you're nuts and need your head checked!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Doug. Also, thank you Kristie for letting Doug out today. He was anxious to get back to the spa treatments

You sure can fly in to get it done, that's what I did about two weeks ago. I had some complicating conditions and the doctor was really great with explaining what documentation I need to bring to the exam and very patient with all my questions. And I walked out with my SI class 1! Absolutely worth the flight to Phoenix.

I wish it didn't cost me so much or else I would come down.

Dr. Forred, do you personally know any of your colleagues from Washington state you could recommend?

Sorry, I don't know anyone in Washington.

uh huh....suuuurreee he was ...it's ok tho, took me a while to get over it (cuz i'm a girl ) but i did, eventually. Although, i have to admit, i had a GREAT time at the spa and my toes are all pretty again. I'll come with him on the next checkup probably (for the lollipop and good conversation while doug steadily breathes in...and...out)

btw.. i meant to ask... was his bp down this time? if so, maybe i should get him a massage before every medical? haha

Nah, no hernia check!

But here's what I like about the Doc's office.

It's NOT like a Dr's office. It's like a clean, comfortable living room. Lots of pilot geek magazines, mahogany aircraft models, killer coffee, etc.

It's really created, I think, to make you comfortable and relaxing.

And Walt's a funny guy. You can literally go from talking aviation to asking a serious medical question, back to talking aviation. It's not the socially sterile, soulless environment that a lot of AME's have.

Dana, who is Mrs. FlightSurgeon.com, and Patty (his assistant) are pro-pilot, friendly, fantastic people. Seriously, if there was an extension of the environment that I'm trying to uphold at Jetcareers.com, it would have to be Dr. Forred's office.

Hell, bring your wives and your girlfriends even!

I was a bit nervous about reading a thread called "two thumbs up" in an aeromedical topic.

And a good job you guys do! Next time, I'll bring Kristie. I'm sure she'll enjoy it! And I'm going to bring a Delta 777 model for the mantel as well.
