Exclamation A very valuable resource!

Hi all,

This may be a touchy subject... and I don't want to step on anybody's toes here at all, especially since Dr. Forred has selflessly answered everyone's questions on here no matter how big or small... but part of me just feels like we may be taking advantage of Dr. Forred's time and his generous offer to give aviation-medical related advice.

Although an arguement can be made that some of our smaller "symptoms" can lead to health and safety issues while flying... It seems that I'm just seeing a lot of posts from folks asking non-aviation related medical questions that they can easily get answers to by simply calling their own PCP, Pharmacist, Clinic, or even looking it up on WebMD.

I don't want to lose Dr. Forred's advice... I think he's an extremely valuable resource to us here on JC.com and I hope that everyone else see's that as well.

I leave you with Doug's "Read Before Posting" post in the top of this forum:

Thanks for the comments. As long as the questions are health related, I don't mind answering them. If they get off track, You may see a smart-ass comment from me from time to time.

It is an honor to be able to help fellow aviators with health related issues. All health issues can affect a pilot in the aviation environment.
