| First, let me dispell the myth that there is a list of banned drugs.Rather there are drugs the FAA approves for specific uses with appropriate monitoring. Second, HGH is not an approved medication. There are significant side effects that can affect one's mood, personality and blood pressure. |

| My opinion is your boy needs to get his priorities straight. Healthy body versus D-3 football??? Ain't worth it.

tell your buddy that the ncaa has different mandates for the d-3 and that they base his college career on how many semesters he has completed. this in not how they do it for d-1, d-1aa or even d-2 schools where you have five years to compete in a four year sport. ie redshirting. i would get healthy start working out slowly run as much as possible or ride the bike keep the cardio then think about football. no matter what it is a physical and taxing sport that can be loads of fun when you are healthy and can dominate every play. i can say from experience that it sucks when you are hurt. i have had a total of nine surgeries all related to football. one was a total reconstruction of my left shoulder that took three major surgeries in the span of one month. i have had my fourth metacarpel taken from right hand and replaced with a metal rod. the third metacarpel came popping through the skin. now my latest injury which sucks is a broken foot and it was the icing on the cake. i would do it all over again in a heartbeat but i also look out for my future. i went three years without an injury in college starting as a true freshman all the way through this year. i have had lots of fun with the game but there is a time in a players life when they need to acknowledge that the game is leaving them and they need to get off the bus. i know it is a hard thing to do but it is the smart thing to do. best of luck to your friend. | |
