I think the conception that "diet" soda or low calorie soda (10 calories) is more friendly to your waste line. Is that so? For example, Diet Coke has no calories. So is it just as bad for you as regular Coke? (This thread arrived as you mentioned Gatorade adding to your waste line )

Diet soda is good from the caloric point of view. I have heard the concerns about it before but there are millions who have been drinking it for the past 20 years and there is no case data that there is any danger to them. We certainly have not seen any diseases or malformations to date. I remember when there was uproar over the silicone in breast implants - causes cancer according to the research. Was true if you put 500 pound implants in a woman (we actually use about 1 pound). You would have to drink a hundred cases of diet soda a day to have problems. Everything in moderation my friends |
