| Senior Member | Well Doc, I got a problem. Exactly two weeks ago I went and hit a couple buckets of golfballs and didn't feel so great the next day. I figured I needed to work on my swing, but I decided to wait until I got over the soreness that went from the left side of my chest around to my back.(left side) I thought it was just regular muscle soreness at that point. Had a couple of workouts that week, so while it still hurt I figured that was just the reason for the continued soreness. I was even stupid enough to go bowling 6 days sunday before last. I woke up last monday in extreme pain and was barely able to get out of bed. I knew I should probably just chill until it went away so I cancelled my workouts and tried to take it easy. 1 week later and I'm still hurting. Am I guessing right on it being a pulled muscle? Is there anythig I can do about it? How long will this last? Thanks Doc.

| CHEST PAIN THAT DOES NOT GO AWAY NEEDS TO BE EVALUATED BY A PHYSICIAN!! It could be chest-wall pain from muscular or cartilage injury, inflamation of the esophagus, lung problems like pleurisy or a partially collapsed lung or even heart problems. Go see a Doc! PM me if you have other questions regarding this. |
