PPL

Recently I checked out a place called Eagle Aircraft in Indina, Porter County to be precise. They were asking about 7000 for everything. Then, just today I checked out a place in Griffith that I just found out about. Half an hour shorter driving distance and 2500 dollars cheaper. When I saw the prices I was in awe. Not to mention when I got in there someone from my school was there with one of his friends who is trying to get his PPL, unfortunately he has leukemia (sp) and is having trouble getting his 3rd class medical. I think he wants to be a pilot for a major airline one day because he mentions how hes going for his IR, CPL, ATP, and ME. I feel kinda bad for him, I really dont know if it's possible for him to get the 1st class medical. He has all the training done, just waiting for teh 3rd class medical. I was having a conversation with him and he seems like a real cool guy. I just hope he can get his dream job. He doesn't let his leukemia get in the way, and I respect that. Anyways, thats my story of the day.

no no no.. i was just asking cuz i couldn't tell if it was supposed to be in the skymates forum or not. it seemed like more of an FBO type thread?!

would you like us to move it somewhere for you or did you want to keep it here?

it's no big deal and we don't carry swords! haha
