Well I might as well start it! Didn't go, went to the Jan LA PEPC but wanted to be the first to start it. Noticed nobody else did.

we were told that hawaii alaska and lousiana had to have class dates within 90 days of tol. congress mandate. good luck guys

does that mean begin class within 90 days, or must be scheduled within 90 days?

Has anyone heard anything yet? It has been almost 3 weeks since the PEPC. I know they told us it can take up to 8 weeks, just curious....

Chicago PEPC-ers are at week 7 now and we don't have anything yet tenken.
if you check the chicago threads here and at stuckmic you might get a better sense of what's going on.

Just out of curiousity... has anyone gotten their medical clearance?? Or has anyone gotten their results back from their MMPI test??

best bet would be to wait for the full 8 weeks to pass before worrying.

I don't necessarily belong in this thread because I went to Chicago buuuuuut I think LA/Chicago medical clearances/MMPI results are a little delayed from the norm right now.

I think if you look on your TOL's or google the FAA medical center you went to PEPC at you should be able to find a contact number that you can call to check your status from.

While I wouldn't recommend calling every day or even more than once a week for updates at this point (because they ARE busy and working), that's how I found out I more or less passed everything 'unoficially', b/c official notification and FOL are still a couple weeks out. (for chicago)

I was at the LA PEPC in April and haven't heard much yet. Only things I've seen/heard are friends and family members getting forms to verify my integrity and them wanting a work verification from my employer. Do we get our medical clearances/MMPI/background check results all at different times? I was under the impression you hear about all of them from our HR rep at once. I wish October were here already...

By the way, is anybody else going to LAX after OKC? I'm a bit put off by it as my first facility (especially from the wash out rate I've heard)

Im not going to LAX... instead im going to the busiest facility in the world Socal Tracon. Just hang in there and you will have a good chance of making it. Study study study. The last thing your instrutor wants to see is a developmental that is struggling and is never studying. good luck

I have been reading these forums for quite some time now. My husband is OTS and went to the LA PEPC in April. Since we hadn't heard anything for 12 weeks now, he e-mailed his HR rep yesterday and heard back that all his clearances were in. I am not sure if anyone else has heard anything (I am guessing not since no one has posted for awhile), so it seems that if you don't ask, they won't tell?!? I wonder how long he has been cleared. Anyhow, just wanted to post some good news!

My husband got a call today asking if could start training August 3rd! We are so excited!! He was one of the ones told he wouldn't hear anything until October!
