Good old MYF. I miss it already.

It's not that hard..... to look for traffic on short final before crossing.
...... to give er full throttle and go around.

At least nobody got hurt.

Yeah I'm talking to you MYF instructor from Sunday afternoon.
I think you should take care of your frustration in the ATP office instead of a public message board.

The controller gives me a yardstick every time they give me a clearance; it's up to me as the pilot/PIC to use 1" or the whole yard safely.

Like I've said in the previous post's to this thread, it was whoever was touching the controls of the Seminole who made a poor decision.

I do understand your frustration, but I think it may be misplaced a little. One should never rush aviation. Thats a gaurentee to get hurt.

From my history of working in operations at a busy and complicated airport it sounds like an incursion to me...and to the FAA as well:

How? He had a clearance to cross the runway.

I'm not saying he did the right thing by taking forever to get across, but unless the controller told him to hold short after he gave him the crossing clearance, no regs were broken.

It's flight training... I've learned it's best not to let things like this chap my rear. It teaches the student that anything can happen, and as much as I hate the phrase, to "expect the unexpected."

Not a runway incusrion on behalf of the pilot, btw. It's the same as someone taking too long to roll out. Cleared to be there, just outstaying their welcome. If anything, an operational error. But I doubt it. Did ATC direct you to go around, or did you take it upon yourself?
