Default Start Date

Well, I was going to dredge up the previous Stuart post, but seeing as how that one degressed into a fight in the sandbox, I guess I'll have to start over.... so:

Besides Bramlett, anybody else going to be in Stuart starting on May 31st? I put down my deposit today. Can't wait. Of course I've got 5 writtens, a PPL checkride, 35 hours to fly off and some other fun stuff to do between now and then but it's all good. Can anybody comment on the houseing? I've seen pictures from JAX. Is it similar? Different? Thanks.

I have my interview on the 6th of may and if all goes well I would like to start on may 31st in JAX or Stuart, I'm having trouble deciding between the two. I hear that Stuart is a great place to be. Hope to see you there!

JAX is full for May 31st... That's why I ended up in Stuart. Although, like you, I was trying to decide between the two. I guess things sort of got decided for me, which is fine. The more I look at Stuart the more I like it.

I visited both during my cross country flying...

I was out from Dallas and stayed 2+ nights in each location. Overall, I think Stuart was my favorite. I liked the town and the area better than Jacksonville, although Jax is not bad by any means. The apartments are comparable in each location, but I liked the Jax apartments better.

It probably doesnt matter which location you choose... they are both fine locations.

Good luck,
Jeremy
