Default ATP Daytona Beach

Hi everybody,

I will be heading to DAB soon for a multi-engine add on to my commercial ticket. Anybody have any information on this ATP location?

I spent two years living in Daytona Beach, so I am familiar with the area... hence my selection to attend this location.

The Daytona Beach location is completely backwards. They have two guys who think that they are the manager. One is the former manager, but the other one is a newer instructor. Most of the time that location is very behind on everything. I did not finish anything on time there due to planes and instructors. I ended up leaving there and finishing the program in Arlington. I'm not sure who is doing add ons there anymore but, if you can ask for Devin. He did all my multi stuff and he is still there. Just my two cents on that place.

Here is my report:
I finished the Multi-engine rating add-on in the same week I started. I selected the 4-day program.

Everything went fine at the location. I experienced no problems. I would reccommend this location to anybody. If given an option for your checkride, ask for Bob Raskey.

I'm the primary (and right now only) add-on instructor at ATP Daytona. I've had a new Commercial ME add-on student every week since January. They have all finished in 4 days and they have all passed their check rides on the first attempt.

It can be a lot of work in a short ammount of time though. If anyone is looking for the rating, this is the place to come.
