| I was looking at the ATP website it says for checkride fees plan for $3500? It used to say $2700.. Anybody know what ride fees went up? |

| The fees are dictated by the examiners, occasionally they increase their rates and also their rates vary by location. In Dallas the checkrides were $350, but in Jacksonville I believe they are $400. You have 6 checkrides which will probably be at $350/400 plus your initial CFI which usually costs like $500 unless you are one of the ones to do it with an FAA inspector, in which case it would be free. So that ends up being like $2900. I guess the extra is to budget in case you bust one or two checkrides.

| Old Skool | The fees are dependent on the examiner as Spira said. Almost all of the examiners and checkrides are $400 here in PHX. |

| Senior Member | Riverside = $450 each ride. Richmond = $300 for Commercial / $350 CFI add - ons. Las Vegas = $500 for CFI initial!!!!! A certain examiner doesn't cut a break if you bust either. Ouch... -Rob |
