| I'm still wondering how ATP plans to keep enough CFI staff considering the airlines are hiring their students straight out of CMEL training, they no longer offer CFI initial training, and the CFI-Multi course is going up $700! $2500 for a 2 day class and a few hours of multi? No thanks. |

| Senior Member | I think they are making it clear through the canceling of the total CFI program and the big price increase that they don't want to teach "outsiders" to be CFIs. My guess is they are having trouble fulfilling the commitment to the big spenders (career students) and it's not worth the scheduling hassles to try to get a few extra CFI students who aren't going to stay to instruct anyways. I think one indication of how busy they are is seeing our location's students go to CFI school and being shipped right back for their II and single engine addons. Didn't that stuff used to be done at CFI school.

| Senior Member | Well Im sure when you see your boss its either A. your doing a PC or something along those lines or B. your in trouble! TH has an office at RAL, so even if he isnt giving a checkride, its pretty easy to find him. -Rob |

| UPS Chief Pilot and DPE, that guy must be making some SERIOUS money. What is that like an additional 100k to supplement his UPS salary?

| Mr. Hamm gave me my private SEL check ride last October. I trained out of F70. Now I want to go to ATP @ RAL. I think Humphrey Bogart said it best at the end of the movie Casablanca. "I have a feeling that this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship" |
