Default I wonder...

How much tuition is going to go up at ATP? There is a shortage out there, were the heck are they going to find CFIs? Once they get these CFIs, they will need to pay them. They will need to pass the pay along to the students I guess.

They should give the instuctors a 10K bonus AND the CRJ crack course for free.

To answer my own question, I am guessing $85,000 to get all of the ratings.

Well... it appears as simple as this...

More students sign up for flight training...
ATP makes more money from the revenue of increased flow of new students...
ATP now needs more instructors...
ATP now has more revenue to pay more instructors due to the influx of new students...

What am I missing here?

Bob

LOL! Why go to ATP then... when you can spend that much right now at DCA, FSA, ERAU, Pan-Am, etc???

Seggy dearest... If JC's increased flow of newbies over the past year+ is any indication... then... yes... yes they are.

When I got my multi at ATP, my instructor went to ERAU....He said he has a lovely 150k in student loans to pay back....That is absolutely BRUTAL...

On a side note, when they get these diamond jets in, Im wondering if the cost of the program might jump about 10-20k just to pay for those....(MX, fuel, and Staffing) Only time will tell I guess....I hate it for the younger guys tho

those djets are going to kill the price at atp. i think they are going to begin incorporating the jets in the instrument cross countries. they use the seminoles now but i think they will use both once they come online. i will be long gone from atp by then but that is what i am hearing at the rumor mill in phx.
