| I have noticed that everyone says to ask alot of questions while visiting a potential school. I have visted one out of the four schools that I feel to fit me, but I feel like I ran out of questions to ask while I was there. I got the obvious ones like cost, time, aircraft, potential to he hired after completion, but I was wondering if you had any other ones that you guys might have thought of later and wished you would have asked. Thanks for the help. |

| No, unless it is some kind of emergency. Self-paced can take as many breaks as they like (within reason) though.

There are many paths to choose from. You can train at a local FBO while going to college or working a second job. You can go to an academy like ATP, and immerse yourselve into aviation 7 days a week for over a year (including instructing time). You can go to a Regional carrier or you can go be a freight dawg. If a major airline is in your future plans, then maybe you need to keep in mind building Turbine PIC time, and choosing the part of the industry that will get you that time in the most reasonable amount. Once you start researching where you want to end up after flight school and instructing, then I'm sure you'll have many more questions to ask! By all means, ask questions here too! | |
