I am taking the tour on tuesday at 1pm. They said a student was going to take us on the tour. I was just wondering if it happened to be one of you guys? Any suggestions on what I should ask or do?

I just did a tour there and took the admissions test and sim ride last week. Not a bad looking set up. The guy who gave me the tour and check ride was a pretty nice guy. His brother was taking a checkride for commercial I believe that day. Questions were not too bad for oral and written. Check ride kept me kind of busy. As I was on a 17 day leave from Afghanistan, I was a little hung over , but the guys said it was the best landing they had ever seen a application check ride guy do. Now I have to make a decision between there, Aviator and MN Aviation. CF |

The other guy took an interview...you are taking a tour. Two totally different things. All you will do on a tour is take a look around, see how things run, sit in a plane or two and talk things over. Then when you leave, call the up, put down a deposit and select a start date! |

Yeah, checkride, tests, and they beat you with with rubber hoses as well ![]() Just kidding, what he said. Just enjoy yourself, and ask the things you would like to know. take things in and decide if it is the right place for you to learn. Remember, its a lot of your money you are going to shell out, make sure it is a right fit. I was only doing the application interview along with the tour so if I did decide to go there I could set it all up from here in Afghanistan and have that stuff out of the way. CF |

| A student won't be giving the tour. There will be an instructor there waiting for you. If there is not an instuctor there to give you the tour, ask to see the training center manager. If he's not available call the 800 number to the admin office and they will straighten things out for you. ATP takes tours very serious, instructors are on hand to answer your questions. But don't avoid talking to students. Get their insight. Find out why they went to ATP. They will provide valuable information too.
