Default Questions from an aspiring pilot for ATP's

I'm looking for professional Airline pilots to shot the aviation breeze with. I'm a junior in high school and am looking into a career as a pilot. I have a lot of questions so I apologize in advance. Anybody willing to take some time to help me it would be deeply appreciated.

I always did find the ATP flight school name very opportunistic and misleading...

artdog, you came to the right place, everyone here has been very helpful as I've progressed in aviation. Spend alot of time reading posts and using the search tool as well as asking questions though, alot of your questions I'm sure have been asked before. Also, ATP stands for the air transport pilot FAA license, but also a flight school decided to make a business name out of this standard phraseology. Good marketing, but it still has always bugged me
