| Hello, Is it true that ATP now requires all of its 90 day program graduates become a CFI with them for a certain amount of time? Thank you. |

| Where did you hear that? That assumes everybody can teach. |

| Old Skool | Hey there DIA, It's pure speculation... but extremely doubtful. I think you are talking about the thread in the general forums where ATP is supposedly asking folks who just sign up for the CFI course to instruct. That's a totally different thing from the 90 day program. Bob

| Hey Captain Bob, Yes, that's where I got the idea there might be a requirement like that. Thank you very much, I misunderstood the other posts. By the way, Did you go to ATP for your training? Thanks again for the help. - Kevin |

| It may be just for a few classes if it is true at all. The Total Instructor program has got really popular, it wouldn't be suprising to find a majority of people in a CFI class be TIs. It may have gotten to the point that there were no slots for the career guys which causes their 90 day program to turn into a 100 or 110 day program. Have you called the 800 number and thats what they said? |

| You are exactly right......lots of Total Instructors slowing down Career Students. I am in CFI school now in JAX. 6 students and half are Total Instructors. |

| ATP's hurting for instructors. With guys getting hired with less then 400TT, its no wonder why. People are literally instructing there a month and then they are gone. Good for ATP and definitely good for the guys getting hired so fast, but its leaving them struggling to get new instructors in the field as fast as they are loosing them. I think their web master has his/her hands full too! Updating that Airline Placements page every week. Good for ATP though, I'm glad to see that they continue to give people what they pay for. Hopefully I can get my name on that page soon.
