Hello, I am very interested in ATP, especially with its fixed cost flight training. Do they hold true to the fixed cost they quote you to begin with, or is it like many other places where the initial price is much lower than the true price? All in all, is ATP a good deal and do they hold true to their fixed cost price? Thank you! |

ATP's price is what you see is what you get. It includes housing, whether you use it or not, all flights, upto 150 hours ME , at least 50 Simulator time or more & upto 10 hours SE, transportations cost only if you must be airlined from location to location, books, videos, & tests. It does not include checkrides or your equipment such as headset, bags, and stuff. It also doesn't include your ground transportation, food, entertainment, or for extra tests such as the IGI or AGI. Oh and if you don't have the 85 hours cross country PIC then you can burn it off with ATP's 172 at about $120 an hour, I think. If you or ATP or you decide to sever the training then you will be charged for the flight time and housing up to the point you stopped. Tax is included and the price quoted is what you pay.

Yes. You don't pay any more except for designated examiner fees which is between you and the DPE, ATP doesn't get that money.
