Cool Waiting

Its about 5th day into our Cross country XC time build for ATP , weve been weatherd a lot and have gotten actual about 4 hours now, and just last night we were airlined to PHX. We come in 1120 last night and paid 50 dollar cab ride to the apartments. We get ready at 6am call up dispatch for our Jet ride to JAX and were still waiting up on the two owners and just haning out in the lounge....weve been getting up at 5 since our xc's began so far its been realley fun and the experience you get is worthwhile, as well as the exposure you get flying in real world conditions getting DP's, STARS and flying into all kinds of airspacer and different states. So far weve flown to IWA,TUS,SAC and ususally back to RAL and now we are waiting for the citation ride to JAX. Only disadvatage is the exhaustion you get from flying 5-6 hours a day and its a bit tiring, but overall it is a fun experience.

Sounds like a blast! Wish I could afford to do the ATP program and get it all done fast instead of the slow poke way I am going....

Better to be waiting there then biting your nails. I'm patently waiting for my Jan 8th start date.

That sounds great! Are you at the RAL campus? Thats where I was going to go, but now it may be best for me to go to LAS. I hopefully will start in march of next year. Keep us posted on your progress. Its good to know that things are going well

I will second that. I had to do two writtens and pratical in only 4 days after my xc's or I would not get to start cfi school the following monday. I finished my FIA at 8:30pm and started cfi school at 8am the next morning. My brain was toast.

the thign is we do have som eof the CFI packet done but we are exhausted after a trip and push and force ourselves to do the CFI packet but doing that will not be resourceful or helpful.
