I think a Seminole was blown onto a Skyhawk. My instructor flew a Skyhawk from GKY to the Phoenix location today to replace the damaged skyhawk. He wanted me to go with him (I am a self pacer Started 5/5/06 and got my PPL 7/18/06) but I have to work. Would have been great cross country experience. I see he made it ok via flightaware and atp's flight tracker. The plane he took was my least favorite, N21515.

21515 didn't start on me 3 times and when it did run required waaaaaaay to much right rudder all the time. My favorite was 84299 but 20676 came our way this week. Flew it 7/17 and got my checkride in her 7/18. Much easier to fly.....the tail is much lower so i suspect its a different model. I know the landing gear has a wider stance. 21515? ehh.....not so much.....but to each his own.

I am doing my 60 day in Phoenix right now and yes a seminole got blown onto a 172. The 172 was 733QU or something like that. Was nice to fly. Sad to see them sitting off the the right of 12R everytime you fly out. |

Are we talking about the Seminole Chicken Killer, 721CK? Still auto-banking to the right? I thought PHX had only new Seminoles.

I just saw the video. It's a newer Seminole (something 8AT). Chicken Killer is still alive and kicking. Those planes, however, are a total loss. Neil
