Is it true that the price that ATP quotes on their website doesn't include tax? So tax would be extra? They don't have the word tax on their website once. |

I just called and they said the prices posted are out the door. Includes everything but examiner fees.

I don't see how it can be taxed, your paying for a service, not a product. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only tax you'd be paying is fuel tax, but they include that in the price. The price's go up when fuel goes up.

At my local FBO I pay tax on the rental of the airplane but not the instructor. In Arkansas there is a tax on services. There is almost a tax on breathing. |
