Default Interview

I was just wondering how I should prepare for my interview with ATP, to enter the ACPP? Basically what should I know. Any help with this would be appreciated! Thanks!

There is a test with basic private pilot stuff on it, so maybe review your private Gleim book. Secondly, there will be a sim ride that consists of nothing more than a few turns to headings and some possible constant rate climbs. Then you may be interviewed by a CFI with some very basic private pilot questions.

Not bad at all. Just making sure you have a pulse and can make it through.

Were they f'in with you? Lol....No one I heard of got that. I got a phone call, was asked what Vy and Vx is, and a couple other easy questions. No sim, no test.

I had a written test, sim ride, and an interview with a CFI. After that, I had a call from Jim and we discussed Vmc and airspace for about 10 minutes.

The interview process is exactly as described above. Written test, Sim evaluation and some quizing by the instructor. I didn't have to do it because I went through the Private Program here. If you did your Private training somewhere else, then you have to interview.

We've given about 4 interviews in the last month here at our location and every interview is the same format.

You might be thinking of the pre-course exam. Its a test you take the first day of the ACPP. It is easy, just basic PPL knowledge, but so is the interview test.
