| I did this a LONG time ago. I didn't find it very bad at all. But then again I had just finished my multi commercial in a Seminole at FSA and had a good bit of time in the airplane (about 60 hours I think) which undoubtedly helped. I also found spending a lot of time doing the prep course that ATP provided to be beneficial...do it VERY thoroughly and understand the material. It will help you with your orals and make you a better instructor. More than anything else, I had prior teaching experience (non aviation)...teaching is teaching, just different material. As long as you are knowledgeable on the topic, know your student's goals, and confident you'll do well as an instructor. |
