Boston needs one too, at KBED preferentially! I'm totally up for opening up that location when I'm done with the program! |

I was in CFI school with a guy from the Rochester area. He did the 10 month program at ATP Atlanta and commuted from Rochester to do it! Flying down on AirTran and renting a car, etc., he figured out was cheaper than doing comperable multiengine training locally. Maybe weather is a barrier to having training centers near the population centers in the northeast? Mike |

Yes, Weather would be a problem in ROC and BUF thats a good point. I think they could get away with SWF as the weather there is not much different then TTN. Ahhhh I guess flying down south is an option each week. BED does sound like an option too, but weather will be an issue also! |

I talked to people in Admin when I was there about this. The problem is the cold weather. I was told this, "ATP is in the business in completing the programs customers sign up for in the shortest amount of time. The schedules get all screwed up if everyone is getting delayed for weather." I'm here at the Washington location and we have weather problems that screw things up a lot. Plus, you'd have to have an examiner checked out in the Seminole that had quite a bit of availability. That's what it all boils down to.
