Check out the Better Business Bureau. They usually have the owners, etc.. listed for companys. But in the case of ATP they do not. See my thread titled "ATP MISTAKE" . In one of my postings I have the info on them from the BBB.

ATP is a privately owned company, and thus isn't required to disclose that kind of information.

Reaching only in so far as ATA was a privetly owned business, but they had their owners listed with the BBB. If you are trying to imply that I am comparing the two, then your wrong. That would be a whole new thread.

Gotcha. I didn't read back far enough and assumed you were implying a correlation between the two.

ATA vs ATP? You've got to be kidding. ATP is like the Southwest of flight schools-basic, no frills, but we'll get you there. And charge you half as much, while making money.

I wouldnt say no frills, P. The planes are all pained, got GPS, HSI, and mx is no joke. We give you all the books that you'ld need. Almost all locations have a sim. and the ACP locations have the new Frasca. You wouldnt beleive how many people walk in and say how lucky we are because we have the nice sims.

That's true. I guess I was using the flight "academies" as a comparison, with their significant but expensive facilities. When compared to the other 90%, ATP is quite well equipped.
