Does anybody know if ATP is hiring CFI's out of their total pilot program only, or if you can be hired from their CFI program?

"ATP evaluates Airline Career Pilot Program graduates who wish to be considered for a multi-engine instructor position. The majority of graduates have subsequently worked with ATP as paid flight instructors. ATP offers one of the best multi-engine instructor jobs in the industry. Our instructors are highly sought after by the Regional Airlines due to the multi-engine experience obtained in ATP's demanding training environment."

I read that too, and it sounds to me like the only hire CFI's from the Career Pilot Program. They probably don't need to look at other sources.

| Old Skool | ATP usually hires w/in its Airline Career Pilot Program . . . not too long ago however, when regional airline hiring was picking up, and their instructors were leaving for the regionals, ATP was briefly hiring outside of ATP altogether I believe . . . and at which time out of their CFI program as well. |

I am an instructor for ATP and in our training class we had two instructors that were hired outside of ATP and one that was a total instructor. The other six were ACP students. Turn in your resume to Jim and see what he says.
