Steenland worked for Anderson, and replaced him as CEO of NWA when Anderson left for UHC. Don't know where Lorenzo fits in....

Richard Anderson was one of Lorenzo's top attorneys during the last few years that his company owned CAL and EAL. Technically, Anderson worked for CAL, but I'm sure he was advising Lorenzo on matters related to all of his businesses. After Lorenzo was kicked out of the industry, Anderson left to work for NWA and eventually became CEO.

Doug Steenland was an attorney for one of the big corporate law firms before he went to NWA, but I'm not sure if he ever did any work for Texas Air Corp. He came up in this industry under Anderson's tutelage, though, so I'm sure a lot of the Lorenzo mentality rubbed off that way. In the end, Steenland was a much bigger monster than Anderson ever could be. Anderson was certainly not a labor-friendly guy by any stretch of the imagination, but he always knew there were limits, and he seemed to have some sense of morality. Steenland never suffered from that "limitation."
