Three simple letters PNT I have had one since Sept 2001, it has commuted all around with me, and other than missing a zipper handle, it is in fantastic shape yeah, it looks a little beat up; but... |

Thanks for the recommendations. I went with the Purdy Neat 737 Stealth. It is a great roller so far. Fits well in the Emb-120 over head and has tons of well thought-out pockets on the sides. The bag is a little heavy, but it is built like a tank.

The placement of the handles is crucial. Extra hooks, tags, straps, or anything else that might snatch a hand or snag on a belt loader tends to get the bag thrown. Trying to pack your entire life in the bag so it feels like it's full of lead doesn't help either. I haven't looked to see what brand they are, but I've seen a bunch of crew bags that all look the same. I'm guessing they're the amazing ones everyone is talking about. They're the type that I like to take care of. I try to take care of every bag, but if it's completely awkward, it doesn't get the same treatment because I almost can't give it sometimes.

They offered to send me the replacement parts...um NO. The bag was falling apart, I had my previous Samsonite for 2.5 years prior to getting this bag. When I returned it they refunded me my purchase price but not shipping, as stated on their web site they are supposed to issue a FULL REFUND. I guess it's up to their interpretation what a "full refund of the purchase price" is. There's nothing on there about not refunding the shipping. It's $14 but it's principle. The bag was clearly defective. That's what put me over the top. Selling me a defective bag, then charging me for the shipping (both ways!). I went with a PNT, couldn't be happier. You really do get what you pay for. It's too bad, the Strongbags roller had a good design being completely framed in metal, but it used cheap things at it's weak points.

| Yes. It makes it easy for the passengers. As soon as we open the door, their bags are there waiting for them. None of that "waiting at the baggage claim mess".
