Also in the Pinnacle Holdings family, I'm pretty sure Pinnacle's still hiring as well. Latest vacancy still had 25 DTW and 30 MEM FO slots unfilled.

Negative.....referrals will be given 'special' consideration. But that doesn't mean you need to have a referral to interview. Basically, if someone is referred, they are all but guaranteed an interview....without the referral, you will need the minimum requirements at least.

This may not apply to me, however, I had an interview with them back in March and the last few classes I have been offered had been cancelled (Aprill, May, and June). Should I just keep my info updated on Airlineapps or just be patient until I get called for an open class?

Thanks

Did PDT guys get to go to Mainline before PSA? How the heck are you all not fat on FO's as well?

They took about the same number of pilots from us and PSA about the same time. A few are still getting interviews. And we still have a big need for f/o's in SBY and MDT. However.....there was a big meeting in CLT between our bigwigs with the bigwigs at mainline and no word yet on what the subject was. Lots of speculation over it being something about PDT's future. It was two days ago and no one knows anything yet...not a good sign. If it was good news our leadership would have put up a memo already me thinks...

Hey, the Q400 is a cool airplane. Personally, I'm impressed with the spaciousness, especially the aft galley.

Great minds...and all that! The galley area is PRECISELY why I prefer being "B" FA.

The difference is that PDT didn't freeze their guys locally and not allow them to go to ML. PSA has/had 68 guys who were "hired" at mainline, but none were allowed to leave until last month. Of course, now Airways doesn't need them so I think PSA has sent a grand total of 4 guys over there. PDT has been sending however many a month for a while now.

The overall attrition rates are probably about the same though because JJs were leaving PSA at the same rate PDT guys were moving up to the Mainline.

To say that we are short on FO's at SBY is a little bit of an understatement. I bid a build up to garuntee I'll be able to attending a family wedding. I got those days off but also 18 days of reserve. 18. 1-8. We have 0 pilots on reserve at SBY despite the fact the June list says I'm 19/50, there are only 28 fo's flying out of sby. 2 lines were not awarded for june.

Come here if you wanna fly alot. My prediction about the future; USAirways does what American just did, slash capacity at mainline and at the regional level. PDT merges with PSA. Big fence and PSA parks most of their 50 seaters. Possibly dump all TSA flying. Possibly then sold to RAH. Possibly possibly possibly. But I'm just a pilot, I don't know how these decisions are made.

Dvt, everything is senior and junior at colgan. It all depends on when you get there. If they have a base that you want go for it and you "should" be able to switch bases within a few months. I say should because I tried to get LaGuardia for about 5 months and finally went to White Plains when my base closed.

How is Houston looking seniority wise? What are the current de-facto hiring minimums?

Is the HPN base just for United Express? I see where there is no longer an Airways Saab going in there with that flying being done by the 1900.

No.

TSA 50-seat RJ flying is all done at-risk under a pro-rate agreement, much like the one Colgan has with US Airways.

I wouldn't expect US Airways to get rid of flying that doesn't cost them a penny.

On a similar note- Colgan's US Airways pro-rate agreement expires Halloween 2008. PNCL investors HATE pro-rate flying, too.
