Ahh, the power of having a union. This guy will most likely keep his job and the union will fight for him. He didn't show up to his report time intoxicated. Lucky for him that he did get caught strolling for beaver in the woods.

Wow...I'll have to put that in the phrase-bank.

You can't file a wrongful termination grievance until they actually wrongfully (or not) terminate the guy.

So I am sitting with my wife and I show her the paper and say

"Hey honey--look, now that looks like a fun job".

She clocked me........

I talked to a buddy of his in the terminal yesterday and he said the guy is being brought up on felony charges for breaking into a car (while they were in the woods). Yes, I'm going off what his buddy said, but I'm sure he knows more about the situation than the media.

Not sure what PCL policy is on arrests, but I know they've fired for a lot less. Don't get me wrong, I wish the guy the best of luck and hope he gets his job back. But with PCL, I don't see that happening.

Yeah, we've had guys get sacked for a lot less, but ya know what? They normally get their jobs back IF they want it. A lot of those guys say "No thanks, but I'll take the cash settlement instead." PCL is a very punishment oriented company it seems most of the time. Rather than say "Hey, we need everyone to work together to make the company better" they'll send out a memo threatening people with "disciplinary action up to and including termination" for calling in sick on Super Bowl Sunday.

FYI.... he hasn't been fired (yet) - they've both just been suspended pending the outcome of an internal investigation.... read that to mean Pinnacle will probably fire them it just hasn't happened yet.

Still think is it's a shame this makes the news just because of their occupations. Even if they were school teachers we wouldn't be hearing about it.

I figured that she would at least be hot - from the link above with the picture I am certain that I wouldn't ruin my career over her.

She looks better naked in the dark out in the woods!!
Hey everyone has their own standards. She likes to get freeky and he likes that; so more power to him! Hopefully they can find a more secluded area or keep the fun indoors next time.
