Got two extremely green friends who are probably into their first month on reserve over there right now. Hope all ends well.

Have not heard anything. However all I know is the past month I flew only about 4 hours. Due to having too many FO's. I dont know what is going on. However I do not think we had anyone in training right now. Last class I knew was in March. So if thats the case I doubt they sent them home. Who knows though, like I said we have entirely too many FO's right now. Guess I will wait around and see.

Leave it at this.... there's more to it then meets the eye.... those who are no longer here know why. If you had a buddy in that class perhaps ask them.

So it might have been a training issue and not a "zomg PSA is going bankrupcyy!!" issue.

Nah, neither one of them were in the class. They both got there in early to mid January and as far as I know both made it out to the line.

But - gotcha. Keepin it on the downlow

Oh snap! You sound just like the HR Dept. email we recieved. "Hang on and wait for a class if you can, but if you can't, thats ok too."
Cutting a man out of the knowledge loop makes me frazzled and even more worried now.

*IF* the rumors are true, the entire class being sent home didn't have anything to do with future hiring at the airline. It was a completly internal issue.

That said, as far as I know it is all rumor at this point anyways.

Just rumors.... they of course do not tell us. Only way of knowing why they were sent home is asking one in that class. However its not because of hiring or the airline industry. Internal reasons are to be blamed. Again no one other then those involved know why.

It does suck your class has been getting pushed. I wish ya nothing but the best. If you stick it out and come here I believe you'll enjoy the environment!

Believe me I am hanging on... I appreciate the support guys/girls... PSA is where I really want to be so I will be paying the price to wait this one out. I just don't want to be that guy not in a chair when the music stops though. It looks like I will be headed off to do be a diver driver in the meantime.

Oh man that sucks. I feel bad for those guys, hope they get a classdate soon... At least RAH was open with their problems when they did that...

From reading something on the other website the class was let go (maybe except for one) for cheating on the indoc test.

Indoc is actually hard. I couldn't imagine taking something so hard. Do I really need to put this

Must show what kind of people they're hiring.

Jea, I saw it there too. . .but of course not being part of the PSA Invasion I wasn't able to see the full thread.

Nevertheless, an informant has informed me of the circumstances (or the rumot) of their dismissal.

Yup, i heard the same thing except more bluntly put. The entire class was fired except one. Quick end to an airline career.

That's odd - our indoc instructor declared 'No Child Left Behind!' so it was hard not to pass. As for cheating, I have yet to do a type rating (or college class for that matter) that did not have 'Word' passed on from previous students to 'study' from, usually with the 'wink, wink' from the instructor.

If anyone can share details, would love to hear it wasn't over something like this.

No. The next two scheduled upgrade classes were canceled and the current class, who just finished their orals yesterday and today were told they were going back to the line as FOs.

TIS THE TRUTH!!!! The trickle down from mainline. Although it did look like we had 11 go back to mainline the last month or so. I dunno.... But things are coming to a stop over here for the summer I would guess at least. no biggie. Especially with how things are going everywhere else as well.

Admittedly there was some "i've got a secret" type posts, but I think most people were hesitant in posting something concrete is because they didn't actually know all the facts and hence didn't want to a) start a rumor or b) make an ass of them selves. As was, Seggy has most of the story right, but not all of it.

Not to mention, a lot of us tend not to air dirty laundry in a forum.
