Default Colgan Saab flows?

I am a little confused on something? I am looking in the CFM at the checklist section 5. I asked my instructor about the flows and he was saying that every checklist is the flow. Maybe I miss understood him but what are the memory items or the things that need to be memorized. Just confused and I am trying to figure out what to start studying since I got the weekend off(flow and memory wise) if you all could help me out I would appreciate it. Anything will help!

Yeah, it's confusing at first. I was lucky enough to have some transition pilots in class with me, they sat down on the paper tiger and did flows with me. Basically, none of the flows are written down. Some of them are in the CFM, but most are just doing your own thing based on the checklist. Here's the flows you need for everyday stuff.

After engine start (engine 1, and 2), Before take-off, Climb, Cruise, Descent, Before Landing, After Landing, Engine Shutdown.

That may look like a lot, but after you do them a few times you'll be able to do them in your sleep. I'm sort of a lazy guy so I'm not going to describe them. However, I bet my anal retentive ex-roomate Brett will chime up any minute.

At Colgan, the memory items are the BOLD items in the checklists. Something that my upgrade instructor got everyone with is that ALL the GPWS stuff are memory items.
