Default Hey Everyone!

Make sure you all send Rocketman a PM and ask him about the PQI weather the next few days he is up there.

Right now it is -16 degree F.

Have fun Ed!

That sucks because we're sitting outside at the PHX M&G in shorts and t-shirts sipping cold drinks. Bundle up.

Damn, that sucks.

How long until the mighty beech has to rescue the frozen saab?

My brother was in PQI for a ski meet yesterday, At 7:30 it had warmed up to -17 F.

Are you working the morning shift or the afternoon shift. Have fun trying to warm up a airplane that has been cold soaked to -20 overnight.

Geeze! Good luck trying to start it! They're a PITA to get going when the temps are in the 30s with that stupid GE Motoring Start. For an airplane built in Sweden, it doesn't handle cold all that well.

Eh, it's all good. We put the plane in the hangar overnight so it's not too bad.

It's freakin cold up here though. I think it warmed up all the way to 9 degrees yeterday but it was back to -15 when I landed last night, and no, those temps are not in Celsius. I'm working afternoons/nights up here until Tuesday. I love it!

Should've stayed in Ithaca.

DaSilva is going to Airways on Feb 4, we've got an opening. Unless you don't like 100 hours of pay credit and 90hours of Block every month.

No way man, not leaving LGA or I'll never get back in.

I actually got a line! Well, if you consider 41 hrs of flying and 62 credit a line...

Are you staying at the Northeastland?

Thats where the ski team stayed and my dad was talking about layovers there putting the second mattress in the window, and mom talking about the checks she wrote to that place. That's where the Bar Harbor crews from the early 80's stayed.

Dude- does your avatar says

"I CLUB IRISH GIRLS?"

You can't condone violence against women like that!

Who gives a flying flip about 'airplanes'.

It is a known fact that the Saab is a serious POS.

Swedes don't know how to build airplanes, buy they DO know how to build gorgeous women.

I'll take a gorgeous woman any day of the week over a practical airplane design.

It handles cold just fine. It just doesn't like to work in it. It's just like us...

I will definitely second Segs' assessment of their women building!

Ok, so the women are beautiful, the cars are ugly, and the airplanes don't like the cold?

Um.. what exactly do we mean by 'loves'?
I mean.. you can love your pets.. but you shouldn't.. 'love' your pets.

You kids are starting to scare me.
