 |  FA Jumpseaters My airline has agreements with several other airlines that allow reciprocal jumpseating (in the back only... we aren't talking about flight deck jumpseats). Are FAs supposed to check in with the captain to request a ride? To the request a ride from the head/lead/forward/number one FA? Anybody else deal with this? We had one tonight and she did introduce herself to our FA but didn't really request a ride, but rather said, "they gave me a seat". Just to throw fuel on the fire she was a JetBlue FA too. |

| Re: FA Jumpseaters I think they are supposed to. When I was jumpseating on Jetblue, there was a United FA jumpseating, he went and introduced himself to the capt. and even brought baked goodies. We dont allow FA jumpseaters so i really dont know what the proper etiquette is for them. Best person to ask is probably their union.

| Re: FA Jumpseaters AirTran allows FA jumpseaters, but all of them are required to stop by and get a signature from the Captain. As it should be.
