Another 24 pilots joined Delta Air Lines on Monday. All assigned NYC 7ER F/O Average age = 36 (Hi-48; Lo-28) Average Hours = 5512 (Hi-12,000; Lo-1800) 8 prior military Highest Seniority Number is now 7128. Total for 2007: 393 Pilots Average age = 35.5 Average Hours = 5050 38% Prior Military Now if I can just get them to call me!!!! |

In the next couple years I think that average age of new hires is going to start dropping drastically. Lots of 23-25 yr old regional captains out there. Almost everyone in my new hire class fresh out of college.
