|  Eagle getting 25 CRJ'S?
I recently heard a rumot that American Eagle may be exercising an option for 25 CRJ700's but heard it was subject to an approval process. Can any Eagle guy shed some light on this?

Actually, I heard a rumor they are getting all of Colgan and Skyway's Beech 1900 fleet.

Really? I heard Eagle had decided that they wanted to streamline the jet fleet and dump the CRJ-700's in favor of EMB-170's.

Apparently the Letter 3 talks tanked regarding language about the procurement options for the second 25 CRJ700s. It's all a little odd. We have a 'town meeting' with the President tomorrow. Pizza and whatnot. We'll see what the old hands have to ask him.

Man I don't want to fly a plane with auto throttles. This thing already does everything for me except for that and descent planning. If I had auto throttles and VNAV I wouldn't do ANYTHING.

The 25 CRJ rumor has been circulating for years. There's a lot of scope issues to be dealt with. Actually, I think there might be some scope issues with getting replacements for the ATR's as well (they're 64/66 seats) and the ones they have are getting pretty haggard.
