Definitely! I'll also need help finding a good deal on an apartment in the ATL area. 22 yrs old and reluctantly but finally moving out on my own.

C'mon, be a cliche, live at home in the basement, and have your mom drive you to the airport, and pick you up to/from your commute to ATL!

C'mon...

I'll just say this. . .the north and east side of town can be expensive. Living outside of the perimeter will also save you some change.

The southwest side of town is far more better priced for what you get than the north and east side of town.

While up in the hotel for training, and you have some free time, try to get out and look at the different areas of town. I'll check with the local apartments down here on the south side (peachtree city, fairburn, newnan), which provide about a 20-30 minute commute to KATL. Which, is a time that you can't beat by living in DOWNTOWN Atlanta, which could give about a 40-50 minute commute in the mornings to get to the airport.

Send me a PM with how much you're willing to spend monthly, and if you want 1-2-or-3 bedrooms. I'll see what the local apartments down here on the southside offer.

Riding MARTA to the airport is also an option. That's how I do it.

Look at Post Brookhaven. I lived there during college. It's very nice, well landscaped, very safe, more hot women than you can shake a stick at, and cheaper than all the other Post properties around town. It's 1/2 mile from the MARTA station, 2 miles from Lennox Mall, and 3-4 miles from Buckhead.

I'm in the class starting on the 19th as well. Other than the one on the 5th, not sure of any others.

Shoot man, i'm still kinda hung up on the decision. I want to make the choice thats best financially. Im thinking that living in base I'll be able to pick up more trips and make more money than commuting from Dallas. And everyone says commuting sucks, especially DFW-ATL with all Delta people that still live in Dallas. Plus as much as as like Dallas I think ATL is better socially.

The picking up trips is a good point. It'll also be cheaper crashpad wise since you won't have to maintain a crashpad AND a residence. Since I live in base, I've been able to pick up the crappy trips the commuters don't want. You know, the ones that start at 7 AM and end at 6PM the next day. They generally net me a decent chunk in extra cash. PLUS, if there's a commuter looking to give up one of those trips, you can normally get the trip AND a bonus. A lot of guys will pay extra money on top of the trips to make sure it's covered. $50 to give up a trip is a lot cheaper than two nights in a hotel.
