Default Speaking of Southernjets

Digging around the seniority list, PeanuckleCRJ is still the youngest guy on the seniority list by far, holy cow! I'm going to have to start calling him "Toddler" or "Cougar Bait" or something!

Hey Bubba you should see the JFK crew lounge. I felt like a very old man and I'm in my young 30's.

I read on another forum of a guy you was hired, AND made it through training at PSA on the CRJ. I guess it's possible, but my gosh, I'm 19 and it's really awkward imagining myself as a regional FO flying an RJ. Talk about losing out on some fun times... those overnights in Fayetteville, NC and Dayton, OH sure sound like fun when your friends are all at parties or are hanging out at the local coffee shop studying for the mid-term.

It seems like there are a lot more 22, 23, 24 years olds getting hired the every new month. That's not a bad age IMO. 19... no way.

Go to college people. Not online....GO to college. Not down the road from home either. You're never gonna grow up if you continue to suckle from the family teet.

Oh, did I mention that you young people should:

The following comments are not necessarily aimed at Bigey; just people at or near the 18 to 22 age group.

Yeah... You are just what the airline industry needs right now. Another 18 to 21 year old punk with no bills, girlfriend/wife, children, mortgage to worry about. I bet you'll be happy as a pig in schit to make 18 grand a year. That will be just enough money to take your fat girlfriend out to Wendy's on the only day off a month you share together. Maybe she'll get all hot and bothered when you tell her your JET airplane stories, and finally let you get to second base.

Boy I hope I get to sit next to some fetus FO someday who still lives in his parents basement. That should make for some interesting conversation on a 4 day.

It really isn't they're fault. I'd be blaming the industry quite frankly. AIRLINES, are the one's allowing this type of hiring to take place. Blame TSA, Piedmont, et al for lowering they're minimums to nothing. 10 yeas ago this subject wouldn't even exist.

This is the world we live in.

Is it our fault we have no bills, girlfriend/wife, children, mortgage to worry about? Should we go add these things to our life before we are qualified to sit in your cockpit?
