Maybe I am missing something here, but talking to some international drivers they like to do two trips back to back to help out with commutting. How is it legal? -Day one fly to Europe! Yippee!!!! 7:45 Block -Day two arrive in Europe!!!!!! Enjoy some wine/beer!!!! -Day three back to the States. Arrive in the States, go to the commuter hotel! 8:30 Block -Day four back to Europe!!!!!!! 8:15 Block -Day five arrive in Europe, enjoy yourself once again. -Day six, back to the states and home. 8:45 block. Am I missing something?

| Old Skool | Ahhhhh. What type of reg is there? So you can theoretically do trips the first two weeks and be done for the rest of the month?

120-in-30 is it. Still have the 1000 in a year limit though. This month I've got 90 hours between today and the 21st. I don't normally do it that way, it just kind-of worked out that way. Kevin |

| Agent Smith | Pretty much what I plan on doing sometimes. Get ER done, drink beer and grow stubble on my off days.

Hey Kevin, is the TOE a round trip ocean crossing or is it two round trips? Plus, does the check airman ride along like a CSO back in the day, or is it just a check airman/captain?

Isn't there 24 hours aloft in 72 hour period, or is that just supplemental?

Most of our trips have 24 hour layovers so it's not a problem... If you fly some overtime the 120-in-30 thing will catch you occasionally. Kevin

We used to do a lot of 11+50 hour trips, with 12 off in the middle, get back to the states and be timed out, not fun at all...

| Old Skool | The 30-in-7 rule is the reason I can't get above 92 hours block this month. I even have a 5 day off stint in the middle of the month, but I'm flying so much before and after that, it would be more than 30 in 7 if I even picked up a MEM-DFW turn! New decision......I think I might JS to DFW to harass Skymates.

More seriously, those out and back types to Europe are pretty hard on the body, I think. I prefer the round the world trips. MEM-CDG, layover, CDG-SFS, layover, SFS-KIX, layover, KIX-MEM, done with one other short thing in the month. Or, perhaps, MEM-HNL, HNL-SYD, SYD-SFS, SFS-HKG, HKG-ALA, ALA-CDG, CDG-MEM, done for the month!
