I was just doing the weekly research/review on some of my positions and saw an article about PNCL. It is striking that they feel the stock (ticker PNCL) is still undervalued when it has almost tripled since I bought it around $6 a share last summer. There is also mention about comair and future growth with colgan. I always find it interesting the way analysts evaluate airlines- they only deal with facts and never touch the concerns that those at the operational level have concerns on, such as pilot contracts, scope, mgmt issues, etc. Just thought i would share the quick read, and as always add fuel to the fire of speculation.. ![]() http://www.smartmoney.com/underthera...070328&pgnum=1 |

all airline stock is pump and dump ![]() A better contract might send that stock reeling because of the reduced profit margins in place. I don't think the analysts really have information on this stuff, it's called "inside information" for a reason .

| Many times the street takes contract as added security. look what happened when fdx signed a new pilot contract. Transports are always sensitive and will work inverse to things such as oil, but many investors look for the prospect of expected growth, earnings, and security of services. i am not saying buy it or anything- just an interesting article..

I find it interesting that management was feeding us the "We can't get an ASA with NWA without a pilot contract" while sending "The pilots are gonna cost you your job" letters to ground workers at FAs......while all the time they were getting stock and stock optiong KNOWING it was gonna go through the roof when the NWA ASA was announced.
