I am a 22 year old part-time CFI. My focus has never changed as far as successfully making it to an airline although the train got slightly derailed if you will. Let's say that a monster known as Key Bank wanted to start repayment way before I was ready. So here I am working full time in the IT field and instructing part-time. I'm also living on my own. I'm in the 500 hour neighborhood with only a limited amount of multi (basically the time it took me to get my multi-commercial plus a few hours extra so I don't know 20 hours maybe). Obviously I don't expect to even receive an interview at this point. However, would it be wise to submit a resume now and update it over the next few years? Or should I just wait until I have the actual 100 hours of multi regardless of my total time? Although, I get the feeling from talking to people that have gotten hired at certain places that if you have a pulse and a multi you're in. Thanks in advance for the help!

What's the worst that could happen? You wouldn't get a call. What's the best that could happen? You get a call. I sent my resume in at my current employer under mins. A lot of places have dropped their ME mins to 50 instead of 100 now, too.
