Default This is a new one...

So we get to Montreal this morning for our long overnight downtown. I call the van service for a ride to our hotel, and what shows up?

That's right. For three people. Seriously.

Drinks in Vegas are spendy. You might be on, I have to think about it!

We get the limo in Indy too and on that layover we usually stay with the flight attendants so invariably I'd always say, "Well, you know when the Delta Wives Club hears about the limo and the long layover with the girls, they're going to freak."

Just curious, what is the Delta Wives Club? I've heard of this a few times, but never heard exactly what they do.

I think it's more of a joke if anything.

There might be one, I dunno! Kristie's not the 'cackling hen'-type so I wouldn't know.

I have had the same thing in YUL. Huge bus for three of us, and it isnt a short ride to the hotel either, whcih made it kind of nice.

We had an overnight somewhere in the midwest a couple weeks ago in a macked out van that had a small plasma tv with a dvd player installed. We turned it on and Larry the cable guy was on the DVD. The van driver almost had to rip us out of our seats when we go to the hotel.

Dude, you're an airline pilot. They know chicks dig you and they want to make sure you have enough room to bring them all back to your hotel room.

BTW, my friend is getting married this summer a couple days after the Late Ride, I'm there with my bike for sure. I think my wife is going to go as well, you need to get down to the city and come with us!

We get the same thing every now and again for the downtown YYZ overnight. They just like to do things bigger up in Canada.

I've heard it's used because the transportation company also has contracts with airlines bringing widebody crews that actually need it.

BTW, how is the new long YUL hotel?

You wimpy Jet Drivers. Usually they have us T-Prop guys hitchhike to get to the hotel. Why spend money on us when we can walk? ITS FREE!

If it gets to be more than fourty below in PQI they send this taxi with this guy...

My girlfriend and I talked about this last night... we are going to start biking a lot more when it gets warmer, and we'd like to do some of these biking events. We'll be trailing a four year old on my bike as well...
