Default Mandatory retirement changing????

I was just wondering if anyone heard the latest on this? I was talking w/ an FO friend of mine today and he seemed to think the age limit was going to be raised to 65 sometime in the near future.
I know it's been debated for quite some time but I didn't know it was actually being realized this soon.
If this happens, so much for all the majors supposedly having massive retirements....at least not for a couple years

Anyone, anyone....Bueller?

Default Re: Mandatory retirement changing????

FAA has established a panel to evaluate the possibility of accepting the ICAO rule change here in the states.

I'm of the theory that it needs to wait until after this retirement boom. /not really.
