| Does anyone know the current XJT hiring minimums? Is there an easier way to find out than completeing the whole online application thing - very dumb in my opinion. |

| well a while ago i heard it was 600/100 with 20 actual, then it went to 1000/200 because they were hiring furloughed independence air pilots. not sure what it is now. I think once you have 600/100 i would just apply anyway. it seems they pick applicants depending on their demand and the supply that is available. anybody know if you apply to early will they just disregard your online application. adam |

| Old Skool | I plan on applying when I get 600/100. What's the worse they can do, say "no?" |

| Officially it is still 600/100/20 actual, but the Indy Air deal has raised the competitive minimums to well over 1000. When I was hired in December there were only 3-4 people in my class of 32 with less than 1000. I'd still apply anyway, you never know. |

| I kinda wish they'd raise it if they haven't done so already. I think those who got hired at 600 were fortunate but there are still alot of guys with over 1200 who are in line to get hired behind guys with 600 (should the other way around). |

| They're not looking for hours, they look for personality and ability to be trained. There were a few people in my class with 2000 hours of jet time that had a hard time, and there were people with 600 hours that had a hard time...now that we are all online it doesn't make any difference. The instrument skills seem to be the biggest problem for the low-time people; they just haven't had the experience yet. |

| Junior Member | As of 3/22 (when I interviewed) as per Dawn Daniel who is the contact person... the mins are 1200/200 unless you are affiliated with a school that has an association with XJT. |

| Senior Member | as of 4/19 Dawn said the mins are still 600/100/20 and 30 in the last 6 months (i think that was the number). She also said when they call you to fax a current resume, its the resume that will get you the interview. Make it nice and clean, include the types of multi-engine aircraft you've been flying and include for hour totals. |
