So I'm starting to see alot of referral lists pop up for people, and congrats on that! Has anyone that applied back in Feb gotten one? I'm reading alot of the 07 people are getting them, are those the people they're looking at right now? Is the Feb batch at a later date? Just curious what to expect now that the preferences have been submitted.

Consensus is that they are dealing with the '07 and '08 applicants separately. In the '08 geographic preferrence e-mail it said to get back before 5/23/08 so there is definitely nothing going on until then. People who have called OKC have been told that referral lists will be made in june with pannels meeting in july to select who gets interviews. Then, if you are selected, you wait for the next convenient PEPC to attend. This is an 'all day' event in which you will have a physical, drug test, interview and what ever else they say you need. It is my opinion that we are not going to do this PEPC until August, at least.

How in the world did you accomplish that?!?!?! I have called numerous times to OKC to ask the status of Feb. applicants, and have been told that NOTHING will happen until June, at least. When did you do your geographic preferences? I know that Miami has or at least had a major staffing problem so maybe that is why you got in so quick but you are the ONLY person I've heard from to have this luck. I bet you have the same name as an '07 applicant! For your sake I hope not because this waiting game kinda sucks. I dont mind waiting to go to OKC but waiting to know if you have the job sucks because I had to turn down another decent job offer which i'd have definitely taken had I not been in the middle of this process.

I read in a recent post that there was an administrative error for some February applicants who mistakenly got selected early. It is not the norm.

Seems I lucked out. I recieved an invitation to a PEPC about a month after taking my AT-SAT in March. My geo preference email only came to me last week. I filled it out, but thought it a moot point. Basically, I have gone from applying in Feb to attending my PEPC next week knowing what location I will be interviewing for. I hope my luck keeps up b/c it has been seamless for me thus far.
