last question, I promise. On the math test, are you only allowed 30 seconds for each question, or is the section itself timed???

Haha, I can't remember for the life of me but I think it was something like 26 questions in 21 minutes, sorry. All I remember is I had a good momentum going through the section then one question stumped me, spent way too much time on it and then rushed through the remaining questions and finished with one minute to spare...

200mph x 1.75 hours = 350 miles 15mph x 1.75 hours = 26 miles 350 miles + 26 miles = 376 miles...

Yeah from 350mph or you would subtract 15mph from 200mph then multiply...

| The green book is in MPH too. KPH != Kilometers. KPH = Knots per hour, nautical miles per hour, or miles per hour. All the same.

Hey everyone, I am one of those "5/2ers." I received my AT-SAT notice on the 16th of June, for the dates of 6/7 through 6/17. I will be taking it on the 8th in Peachtree City, GA, luckily only minutes away from my house. Hopefully I will be ready after a great 4th of July weekend at the lake, and have Monday to fully prepare. Just dropping in and saying hi. I am new to the website and in the process of updating myself with all the posts. I haven't read through the thread just yet. I will update all my progress and it's nice to be with all of you in the same boat. Best of luck to all of you! |

| Junior Member | I took the ATSAT March 19th with a 95 score. Currently waiting for my official date for PEPC. (Memphis July 23,24)... Anyway...the best advice I can give you for the test...DON'T PANIC!! Get a GOOD night's sleep, eat a good healthy breakfast. Don't be afraid to take a break...even if you don't think you need it. Go for a 5 minute walk to get the blood flowing and to relax!! There's a couple places on these threads with links to practice tests...or you CAN invest in the green book and CD from ASA...I did and it helped some...but I think the re####l night and good breakfast did about 10 times what the book did. Just some thoughts for ya!! GOOD LUCK!!! |

| I want to work in Atlanta, at the Hampton Center. Anything in the Atlanta area would be fine, but the center is my first pick. In fact, if I can't get a spot somewhere in Atlanta, I can't really take the job. At the current stage of my life, moving isn't an option. Hopefully I'll see you in Atlanta one day! What is your first pick in the Atlanta area, Tracon, Center, Airport?

I am like you, I have been in 3 states in a year since I have graduated and I am tired of moving. So I hope/want to stay in Atlanta and don't want to move anymore!

So, here I am at the lovely Raddison Hotel in Holtsville NY. Theres got to be an easier place in NY that this could of been held. I must have drove past 1000 hotels. The middle of Long Island? C'mon guys. Im in my room for maybe, 30 minutes and I get a knock on the door. Its a crew of electricians looking to drill holes in my wall and install a thermostat. They need to move all the **** out from the walls, and do this, NOW. Not later, or before I show up, but..... NOW. Im LOLing as I type this. So, they leave for a second and I called down to the Front desk to see what the story was. Front desk say, "oh, there just finish up putting in some thermostats." I laughed and said OK. 20 minutes later, they leave the room. I walk over to the door to listen whats going on. I hear one of the guys say, "Hey, you see that big guy with the sleeve tattoo? He called down the F'n office and said weird mother Fs was at his door with drill and stuff. What an *** **** *** *** ect, ect." I want to be like, "Sir, dont make me smash somebody's face the night before the most important test of my life. I don't need this." I'm not going to cause a stink about it cause thats not how I operate, but it just seams a little ****y that they would do that. Anyone know any good chinese food around here????
