| Hey, I applied to the OTS announcement that closed on 5/2. How long does it usually take for them to generate the list of people selected to take the test? Thanks! |

| For the Announcement that closed in February, the time stamp on the list was the next day. So I am sure it will be fairly quick. But I wouldn't be in too much of a rush. The testing will more than likely run for several months. I wold get settled in, and be patient. This procces take a long time.....over a year for some..... |

| Junior Member | Wait.... the next day?!?!!! Mine says that no referral lists have been created yet.... am I missing something here? I think it may have to do with me screwing up and not putting down "United States" & "Throughout the nation" in my locations.... but still..... I've taken my AT-SAT & scored a 98.2, and I've gotten my e-mail asking for my geographical preference.... but I'm not on any referral lists.... what am I missing?!?!! Help me out here!!!! ACK!!! |

| Junior Member | Slayer, I understand that, but I was referring to Johnsc81's post... "the time stamp on the list was the next day", so I'm assuming that he's saying that the referral list was created the next day.... |

| Ok, well the list to take the ATSAT was created the next day, but no referral lists were created then. Those are still to come... |

| I asked a similar question in another thread. I think the confusion above is the OP's use of the word "referral list" in the title. When they finally notify you that you can take the ATSAT, do they tell you at that time when its happening? or is that a separate waiting period. |

| Nope, it's a separate waiting period, you have to wait for Robinson Aviation to contact you to schedule the test. I think I was contacted, via email, a couple of weeks after my test authorization. However, from what I have seen the length of your wait will vary. |

| Well, one thing at a time I guess. Just getting the chance to take the test will be huge for me. |

| Senior Member | For the offer that closed 2/14, I got "authorized to test" the very next day, and got the email from robinson on 3/4.

| When you log in, don't click on the applications tab, look on that first main page, that's where is tell you if you are authorized to take the atsat. then it says you will be contacted to schedule the day/time. |

| MrBucket, Did you also apply to the position ending 5/2? I don't see anything about the test anywhere on ASAP yet, is it the same for you? |

| Yea, thats the one. I don't see anything about the test either. I just went back to double check after MrFent said it would be on the first page, but nothing. |

| Junior Member | I also applied for the 05/02 announcement. I have not heard anything back yet either. I'm just hoping that they are taking their time and will get to us relatively soon...we shall see. If you all hear anything about it, let us know. |

I applied 8/23/2007 and the test list was generated 12/20/2007. That was 4 months later. Then I had to wait another 2 months to take the AT-SAT on 3/3/2008. I received my score 2 weeks later. On 3/31/2008 I was placed on a referral. Over a month after the exam on 4/17/2007 I was notified that I was selected to interview for Cleveland Center. I am attending the Chicago PEPC in month after they notified me I was selected for an interview. That is 9 months from the initial application to the PEPC.

| Okay guys so to be on the positive side I received on ASAP the day after the 2/15 OTS announcement closing that I was not eligible at that time to take the AT-SAT; however, I did receive an email on 03/21 from Robinson Aviation that I was selected to take the test on 04/07. So, dont get discouraged if nothing pops up on ASAP for you..it's more about getting that email/letter. Alright, to be more negative lol...Rumor is that only about 400 applicants from the 2/15 announcement were selected (randomly) to take that AT-SAT out of about 4500 applicants. It cost between $700-800 to test each person, so of course they can't test everyone. (Please remember this is all rumored). However, I did apply to several of the postings last year and was never chosen. So it is truely pure luck if you are selected for the AT-SAT...soooo good luck! I do know for a fact that ppl are chosen by the last digit of their SSN. Hope this helps some of ya'll |

| The part about them selecting using the last SSN is from actually receiving a email reply from some in OKC regarding the AT-SAT. The rest, like I said is rumored, is from this forum as well as from StuckMic. However, like I also said, I was never chosen for the several announcments last year to take the test, so apparently not everyone gets the chance. |
