Florida Referrals

Hello all. I am a new member of Jetcareers as of today, but I have been reading the forums for a while now. I was placed on a referral list for cities in Florida including MIA, RSW, PBI, FLL and VRB on 02/07/2008. Anyone else is in the same boat as me? I don't know when to excpect an interview. This is my second referral list.

I made that same south florida list too (among others) I was told I'd be contacted for an interview....haven't heard anything yet. It's a listing I sincerely hope I get (I'm allergic to winter!)

My co-worker (and VERY good friend) just recently got hired at VRB. Loves it there. I wish I was getting hired in FL, but I"ll take my hometown of Indy...

I applied for the most recent OTS annoucement, and I really hope I get put on a Florida referral list, since I live in central florida. It sure would be a lot more convenient.

I've been on two referral lists now for FLA and applied for the ten states last month. I just recieved a letter authorizing me to take the at-sat test again! I took it 9/28/07 and was told it can only be taken once a year. I'm not sure whats going on with the FAA lately, but they do not seem too organized with this hiring process at all.

My mom used to live betwen ft. pierce and vero. I really liked that area. He was hired VRA, so different hiring process
