I was told the PEPCs are going down in ATL and Miami. But the lady I called at OKC told me that the FAA wouldn't hit you up, but rather the contractor that's running it. They told me it would be the same thing like with the AT-SAT being run by Robinson Aviation. Either way, waiting sux!!!! Congrats to those who are making progress, and to those standing still like myself, keep your head up! |

Claudia, the lady that I talked to was very helpful, and went out of her way to help me out. At first she was simply going to take down my name and info to give to Zoe, the lady that's supposed to be handling the process, and had told me to not expect a call until tomorrow, but half an hour later, she called me back to let me know that she put me on the list for the Miami PEPC, and that I should get an email from Zoe, within the next couple of days, stipulating everything that's needed for the PEPC. I guess that it's all in who you talk to. There are some people there who will go the extra mile, and others who won't.

I got an email from Terri Owens in OKC about attending the PEPC in Atlanta and to confirm with her that I plan on attending. So its not handled by RVA as well. The dates are April 7th, 8th, 9th. There are 2 ladies in OKC that handle setting you up for the PEPC. Good luck to all. |

Which state are you interviewing for GBURG? Is there anyone else on this forum interviewing for Iowa?

So does this mean that everyone who will hear back about an interview for Nebraska has already heard through email? It still shows I'm on the referral lists for Aspen, Denver, and throughout Nebraska. The one I was on for Chicago, IL shows a candidate has already been selected. Anyone know when the selection committee meets for the Colorado locations?

Just because you haven't already heard something about Nebraska, doesn't mean that you're not still in the running for the state. It simply means that you didn't make "the first cut". I was in the same situation as you, only with Iowa, and those that made "the first cut" were notified on February 6th, and I just heard, yesterday, that I was selected to interview for that state. It's to my understanding that they pick x amount of people, for their first cut, they give those people x amount of time to respond to rather or not they want to interview, and those who don't want to interview give up their spots to the next in line on the referral list. This is what seems to happen, anyway.

Aspen would be beautiful, however I have heard through the grapevine, that it's a fairly low level facility and that the cost of living is quite high. If you have the means to do it, though, that would be one awesome place to work!

| Yeah, cost of living would definitely be a killer; especially with the FAA's new salary structure. Out of curiosity, mind further clarifying 'low level facility?'
