Default Interview Timeframe

I was selected for the Champaign, IL AT-SAT annoucement on 8/16/07. I took the test on 1/2/08 in Chicago. Received my AT-SAT score (86.4) on 1/09/08.

Through my research, I feel as if I should expect an interview email within the next 1-5 months. Is this a fair assessment?

Took AT-SAT back in 09/07 for HI. Referral status online still says they are reviewing applications and that I "may or may not be contacted for an interview". Does this mean I still have lots of waiting to do? Will it say on the ASAP if you are denied a position?

i am not sure but i took my at-sat on 9/20/07 and they just go back to me jan 03,08 like just last week, they send me a email for Michigan and a list of airports to choose from. i just send the papers off yesterday so now i am waiting to see if i get a interview. i am in the same boat but its getting there. i filled out the application on 7/19/07 then it took them a couple of weeks to get back and tell me when i was schedule to take the at-sat. when i finish ,the test lady did tell me it would take 3-5 months it only took 3 so i just waiting... good luck!

Thanks for the info. Guess all I can do is wait some more and hope I get an email or something that will bring me to the interview process.

Patience is definitely the key to this whole process.
I finally received a call today to see if I am still interested.
Suppose to get another call by the end of the month to arrange an interview in HI.

That sucks. It looks like I am going to be headed to IA somewhere and I want to be in MI. Stupid FAA...

Anyone want to trade?

Does the trading of facilities still go on?

I heard that you used to be able to trade once you got to OKC but I heard they stopped doing that.

R10, this is Killer Bee. I'll trade MI for IA! I have a family that will be coming with me, where ever I go...if I go, and IA seems like a safer place. I don't even know if MI will take me. Better there than no where thats for damn.
I'm wishing for any where in IA!

Has anyone received an interview offer from Michigan or Iowa? I bet we'll receive whatever it is on the same day. Hope it is sooner than later!

The selection board for those states is supposed to be meeting the last week of this month. I think that after that they have 60 days to offer you an interview. From my experience it's about another month to month and a half after the notification before you are actually interviewed. It's a long process that requires a lot of patience. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it goes quickly though : )

Does anyone know what day they're meeting, next week, and the timeframe that we're looking at, as far as call backs regarding rather or not we'll be getting an interview?

Looks like they are getting faster with this process. I took the AT-SAT last Wednesday (January 23rd) in Chicago, and got my score (92) back today. Three business days is a pretty quick turn around!

Now I join the rest of you in waiting for the next step. What should I expect next, an offer or the review committee?

I was just placed (2/5/07) on the referral lists for the states of Mississippi and Alabama. It says that I may or may not be contacted for the interview.

Can someone post the link where they list the Facility Ratings by state so I can get an idea on how much they pay will be in these 2 states.

Thanks.

What does "FD + 33% of all other positions" mean?

As anyone received an e-mail from the FAA asking you to fill out and fax some papers into them if you are interested in these states?
